Jersey Slide Endurance Racing was born while Ryan Hargy was watching YouTube videos and stumbled upon some ChrisFix videos about making a 24 Hours of Lemons car. While the rest of the team was initially unconvinced by Ryan's latest stupid idea, he managed to slowly get people on board. Despite lacking in knowledge, experience, and a garage, the team bought a 2000 Honda Accord with the goal of racing it at the end of the summer. After many long days filled with Google searches, phone calls, Harbor Freight runs, and ramen, a functional race car was scrapped together.
